Dr Peter Howie - Having fun before breakfast

Peter had worked as a group psychotherapist for over 30 years and as an organisational consultant and trainer. He was a member of the Brisbane Playback Theatre for a decade. He has raised adopted children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He failed a few times spectacularly and succeeded a few times as well.

Mostly he is living on borrowed time having staved off a few life-threatening lurgies and other usual life dilemmas which gives him great satisfaction along with gratitude, and mild forms of ecstasy on a regular basis.Manshine 2024 - Harvesting Gifts from Life’s Challenges

This workshop is an early morning offering where Peter will be introducing participants to a few subtle yet powerful interactive improvisation processes which are designed to wake up the body and mind and creativity. Folks that come may expect fun, challenge, thoughtfulness, and aliveness.

MANSHINE 2024 is more than an event; it's a journey. Open to all men, 18 years and over, Manshine goes beyond the ordinary, promising a weekend of transformation, camaraderie, and self-discovery.

Dr. Dan Hanson - Turn on, tune in, breathe out

Dan has been involved with 'mens work' since 2010. Since that time he has become a lead facilitator for various organisations including The Rites of Passage Institute, Powerhouse Programs and Men's Wellbeing (Common Ground) and have worked on four Manhood and Manshine organising committees.

He founded Breathe Health Retreats from which to offer transformational self-inquiry and leadership programs, events, and retreats for men and women, with a focus on men.Manshine 2024 - Harvesting Gifts from Life’s Challenges
