Mike Lowe - Good Grief

Mike Lowe has over 30 years international experience leading transformational workshops in the areas of trust building and reconciliation. He has worked with politicians and young leaders in Eastern Europe after the fall of communism and has worked on programmes of reconciliation with police and former militia leaders in Solomon Islands.

His particular gift is in creating safe spaces in which transformation can occur, and he has a particular interest in earth-based spirituality, indigenous wisdom, Process Work, Focussing, Voice-Dialogue, archetypes, and supporting the rise of healthy and authentic Masculine and Feminine energies as we transition from patriarchal and colonial ways of being. He has studied with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, the Coyote Institute and the Centre for Applied Jungian Studies. Mike is currently Lead Facilitator and Trainer for Initiatives of Change Australia. He blogs at www.mikelowe.com.au.

To live and to love inevitably means we experience the deep pain of loss: loss of loved ones through death, illness or separation; loss of connection to place; to work; to meaning; even the loss of hopes and dreams. Everyone experiences grief in their own unique way. Yet we don’t have to carry that grief alone and in silence. In this workshop we will create a ritual and ceremony – a safe space and opportunity for men to talk about and express their grief in verbal and non-verbal ways. By doing so we may find, as others have done before us, that grief can become a portal into richer and deeper ways of experiencing life more fully.

MANSHINE 2024 is more than an event; it's a journey. Open to all men, 18 years and over, Manshine goes beyond the ordinary, promising a weekend of transformation, camaraderie, and self-discovery.

Our 2024 theme, "Harvesting Gifts from Life’s Challenges," is a rallying cry for men ready to conquer life's obstacles and turn them into stepping stones for success.

Jacob is a Men's coach and mentor who has helped hundreds of men to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.

He is passionate about helping men to connect to their hearts, their intuition, and their inner power. This is done through the appropriate rites of passage that are steeped in ritual, ceremony and deep inner work.

He believes all men are here to live freely, love deeply & serve humbly.

Awaken the warrior provides participants the opportunity to lay it all on the line to reveal their warrior spirit. This is about lighting the fire within your soul and learning how to channel it into inspired action.

Each man is given the opportunity to step in and face off with another man and be met in ritual combat. The combat style is wrestling. You will face off with all your insecurities and fears as you meet your edge and honour the man in front of you with your warrior spirit.

If a man is unable to participate in this style of combat there is an exercise that we offer to allow you the opportunity to awaken the warrior without the physical aspect. This is equally as powerful.

Please know this workshop is not about destroying yourself or others. It is a space for you to be courageous and move with honour and respect.
