Everyman Gathering Yarra Valley 2024

Everyman Gathering is back in the Yarra Valley for the first time since COVID-19 this May!

This Gathering’s theme is ‘AUTHENTIC TOGETHER AS MEN’ & the weekend will celebrate the magic that happens when Men gather in authentic open-heartedness to co-create and experience an event together.

The weekend allows men to meet, talk, play or engage to whatever extent they wish. There is no pressure to do or be anything. It’s your time to do as you wish.

At these Everyman Gatherings, there is no set agenda, which means that ‘everyman’ who attends will be an integral part of the co-creation of the weekend. You are welcome to bring along a workshop or experience to share & are invited to contribute in any way you feel inclined.

Even the food is a spontaneous collaboration of creativity and raw ingredients. The delicious and gourmet delights that emerged at the last gathering blew everyone away and were an example of what’s possible at these gatherings.

(Please bring along food to contribute to communal meals.)

• Camp Eureka is a rustic bush camp with great facilities. http://campeureka.org.au/

There are several large buildings and shelters for various activities and fires with wood provided.

Huts are available with beds plenty and many great camping options available.

Well-designed composting toilets and wood-heated showers, take care of hygiene. Cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery are provided.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Food to contribute towards co-created communal meals – if you have special dietary requirements please bring what you need
• Huts have beds with mattresses but you’ll need your bedding & pillow, otherwise bring all your camping gear.
• Musical instruments.
• Water bottle, torch, insect repellent & sunscreen.
• Bathers if you’d like a dip in the creek

ACTIVITIES:

• If you would like to run a workshop or group activity please bring whatever you need.
• There are opportunities throughout the weekend for each Man to offer to facilitate a workshop or group activity.

GUIDELINES:

• This is a drug and alcohol-free event.
• The use of mobile phones and other digital devices is discouraged where possible.
• An emergency number will be available should you wish to inform your family.
• For the benefit of you and all others attending, we ask that where possible, once you have arrived please stay until the end of the event as leaving & returning can sometimes disrupt the flow & energy of the group.
• Snakes – be aware that this is a bush environment and there is still a slight risk of snakes at this time of year. Take care and if in doubt, ask for assistance.
