Many of us are intrigued by ideas of the intimate shadows, of uncovering what is stopping us from connecting, feeling, opening, loving, being sensual, enjoying sexuality, giving and receiving and feeling worthy of in-depth fulfilment, along with expanding our boundaries of erotic adventure.

This three-day journey is for everyone regardless of experience, orientation, age (must be over 18), beliefs, gender, or background.

Everyone is a choice and people are gently supported to make those choices that are right for them without judgement or pressure.

You do not have to be exhibitionistic/voyeuristic, kink-aware, polyamorous, naturally confident, and potentially sadistic or masochistic to attend or even want to try anything along those lines.

This is about your intimate journey and may look nothing like anyone else’s.

We create a safe space for empowering fulfilling experiences with a focus on intimacy, connection, and the mysterious and powerful ‘dance’ within and between ourself/ourselves.

Such explorations can be powerful and extremely beautiful explorations of intimacy, and unfold a healing journey around blocks to self-acceptance and full self-expression.

• Grounding in Practical Skills & Safety
• Increased Confidence through -Grounded Experience

This workshop will be mostly experiential and always safe.

The intent of this healing retreat is to provide participants with safe fully supported spaces to discover more about themselves in intimacy, sensuality, and sexuality, and address the shadow aspects that stop us from enjoying and being fulfilled in these areas.

There is no nudity or sexual contact and no compulsory practices as part of the event. All sensitivities, boundaries and emotions are fully honoured. This is an opportunity to enjoy discovering yourself, be safely open to the excitement and power of what your shadows offer, and learn powerful practicalities.

Playful and interesting reference experiences are explored at your own edges and limits so that you can return informed to your personal life to explore your new learnings there.

FACILITATION TEAM

This weekend is a group experience where everyone is equally valued and supported. The facilitators and assistants strongly value the ‘down-to-earth’ approach.

Phoenix Arrien:

Phoenix is passionate about supporting people’s journeys towards connection with themselves and others for personal and community, healing and transformation. She believes that deep listening, safe space, supportive community and sacred rituals can help provide paths to a happier life and a better world.

She is a workshop facilitator with over 25 years of experience working with people, helping her develop great sensitivity, insight and depth. Her training and experience include Counselling, Tantra, Shadow Tantra & Conscious Kink Practitioner, Jungian Psychology, Core Shamanism, Australian indigenous healing, Cherokee and Maori bodywork, Native American and South American healing, dance/movement, Somatic Psychology, Adventure-based Counselling, Process-oriented Psychology, Voice Dialogue, Deep Ecology, Healing Ecology, massage, reiki, writing and meditation.

She has a deep interest in shadow-work, energy-work, relationships, Tantra, the shadow-erotic, shamanic traditions, indigenous healing, community and authenticity.

Robin Wilkinson:

Robin has over 20 years of experience working in various healing modalities, including as a relational psychotherapist and bodyworker. He specialises in working with attachment, connection, relationships and trauma integration.

He has spent many years working with men including running men’s groups and holding space for men’s rites-of-passage, has long-standing personal practices in the realms of trance and ritual and is passionate about cultivating collective spaces for growth and transformation. He is also an accomplished writer and poet and has been published widely.
