Traditional Wooden Longbow Making and Retreat in Duisburg Germany
The art of traditional bow making & yoga retreat with Lars Richter
Lars lives in Australia and comes to Germany in the summer
from Friday 5 p.m. to Sunday 5 p.m.
Kulturgarten, Moerser Str. 241, 47228 Duisburg
Have you always wanted to make your own bow?
If you enjoy learning the art of bow making yourself, then you will find a special kind of event in the Kulturgarten:
Lars Richter accompanies you in building your own longbow under professional guidance. In the retreat he will bring you closer to the centuries-old North American tradition of bow making. The material provided is high-quality wood that Lars brought back from his adopted country of Australia. You will make your bow out of this wood in fine handwork – even the bowstring is handmade.
Lars also invites you to use the time holistically for yourself: from focusing through meditation and enjoying woodwork, through personal coaching and instinctive arcs to complementary yoga units, the 2.5 days are an invitation to meet yourself and others .
An event for (future) archers aged 14 – 80 and beyond.
Price: 1 person: 350 € traditional bow making including material – 1 adult + 1 child: 590 € – 2 adults: 600 €
Overnight stays in the house are possible (€ 20 / night).
